''Sieudo,'' a new work by Cherylyn Lavagnino, a member of the Tisch dance faculty, juxtaposed a plunging, tumbling chorus of three with a strong duet for women who might be two sisters or friends struggling to live in a doomed world. Her last, quick gesture, a summarizing wipe of the brow, was the sort of vivid detail that was missing from most of the dances. Miller-Caputo not only communicated the sense of an attractive, capable dancer but suggested she might be a rich as well as a hard-working woman. ''All in a Day's Work,'' one of three new pieces by Kristen Miller-Caputo, a graduate of the Tisch dance department, had the jangling, chaotic feeling of the solo's score by John Zorn.
